Rustic mountain shelter
My client wanted a small, shaded area where she could sit and relax and enjoy the view. As she lives on the mountain side, the area was originally steep and overgrown with Port Jackson, so we cleared and cultivated the site. We then built steps from her house up to the shelter using large rocks gathered on site.
The whole area was planted up with indigenous fynbos and irrigated.
